White Courage (Biała odwaga)

The late 1930s, the Polish Highlands. Jędrek Zawrat, a talented mountaineer and descendant of a prominent family of highlanders, likes living on the edge. The beautiful Bronka Skorus is the woman he wants to marry, but by the family’s decision, she is given away to the elder of the Zawrat brothers, the staid and serious Maciek. Proud Jędrek leaves his native region behind to look for ways to forget it all among the bohemians of Krakow. War forces the brothers to make the most difficult of choices. They rise on opposite sides of a conflict that will determine not only their personal fate but also the future of the whole region.
