Poland in Freedom summarizes the effects of 22 years of transition in Poland in the context of facts recorded on a film tape in 1989 , by showing the having been transformed country as a place of fundamental changes: in visual appearance of the cities, business transformation, legalization of free trade unions, economic, political and cultural openness, communication opportunities, free access to and creation of works of art, lift of censorship, new vital entrepreneurship, free media market etc... All these accomplishments are commented by people known in public, who played significant role in the process of transformation, such as: Lech Wałęsa, Tadeusz Mazowiecki, archbishop Tadeusz Gocłowski (the bishop of Gdańsk deeply involved in anti-communist opposition), Leszek Balcerowicz (Polish Minister of Finance in Tadeusz Mazowiecki’s cabinet), Joanna Szczepkowska (actress), Izabela Sierakowska (MP, representing a postcommunist party), Wojciech Reszczyński (journalist), Schewach Weiss (former Israeli Ambassador in Poland), Piotr Bikont (filmmaker, attended DOK Leipzig in 2009 with his documentary The Stories of a Round Table and others.
