Maria and Tomek live in an average Polish town. She works in the city hall, he is an architect. They are expecting a daughter; have a nice, although not fully finished, home. Maria’s boss makes inappropriate advances towards her, yet Maria’s husband finds them harmless and even beneficial to advancing their careers. A cruel act by the mayor will change everything.
